ET Phone Home!

Another day, another Lawn Fawn entry! I used the Snowy Skies background die–I think it looks more like a starry night! Tweaked the little alien to look more like ET. I used Beam Me Up and Bicycle Built for You. Quick and fun! Such an iconic movie!

“UP” Lawn Fawn Challenge #48

I’m having so much fun with this challenge. There are so many books, movies and songs for inspiration! One of my favorite movies is “UP”! I went to high school with Michael Giacchino, who wrote the score, which won a Golden Globe, Grammy and Academy award! My small claim to fame. (Other than the fact that I worked with Carl Lewis, Olympian, at McDonalds!).

I used so many Lawn Fawn stamps for this card…Happy Haunting, Dog Park, Bicycle Built for You, Plane and Simple, Party Animals, Big Scripty Words, Smart Cookie, Cloud borderlah blah blah! The hose was a little tweaking of the LF Road border with lots of Nuvo Diamond Glaze…as were the balloons. I reworked this several times until I was happy with it.

Lots of Nuvo Diamond Glaze!

Babe Lawn Fawn Challenge #48

I’m so excited to be featured on the Lawn Fawn Challenge Blog! There was so many amazing entries!

BABE was one of my kid’s favorite movies when they were little. The Lawn Fawn Hay There and Critters on the Farm were a perfect match for the movie scene. This was such a fun card to make and I think it will be perfect for a Congrats card!

Galentine’s Card

Give me all the hearts and chocolate! I love Valentine’s Day. Some others…not so much. I wanted to make a card for my recently divorced girlfriend. I used Distress Oxides Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry to create the blended heart. Then splattered it with some gold Perfect Pearls. The little Lawn Fawn bandaids were colored with copic markers. Added a Lawn Fawn Scripty Sentiment and voila! I’m also using this for Lawn Fawn Challenge/Color Inspiration #46. Thanks for looking!

Happy Critters Valentine Card Challenge #44

Woohoo! So excited to be chosen as a Challenge Winner for Happy Little Critters! I think this is my fave card to date!

Hay there! All aboard! My entry for Lawn Fawn Challenge #44 Happy Critters Valentine card. Loving the double slider surprise die! I used Bicycle Built for You as the base for my happy critters ride! Big Script Words dies create the background. All patterned paper is Lawn Fawn. I use the cloud border die and Plane and Simple stamps as well as critters from Hay There. Colored all my critters with Copics. Special thanks to @jennshurkus for the helpful double slider FB live!

Hi Beautiful!

These little dancing girls from Picket Fence Studios Sweet Dear Friend make me smile! I paired them with 2 large sentiment dies, also from Picket Fence Studios, Ways to Say Hello & Ways to Say Beautiful. I stamped the words and used my Brother Scan & Cut to trim out the image and headlines and pop them up with foam tape. Thanks for looking!

Lawn Fawn Wonderful Winter Challenge #43

I needed a “Congrats on Your Great News/Baby” type card and loved the soft colors in this month’s Lawn Fawn Challenge. I used the Double Slider Surprise and Little Bundle Stamps. I used Moonstone and Manatee inks. I wanted to keep the little images neutral so I used a C-0 Copic marker to add some details to the clothing. I also used the soft gray patterned paper in the Knit Picky paper pack. Thanks for looking!

Lumberjack Love Gift Wrap

Gift Wrap Challenge — The Sequel

The Lumberjack Love stamp set is one of my favorites. A while back I went hatchet throwing with my girlfriends and afterwards sent them all a card with the axe wielding lumberjack, who I made a lumberjane.

The bottle wrap is corrugated cardboard. I made a tag that has a little pocket (it’s kind of hard to see) that holds a gift card to a local BYOB restaurant. I didn’t want the lumberjack to look like he was going to harm his friend, so I put a tree in his hands to cover the axe!

The treat bag has the little bear sitting on top of the chipboard “joy”, with the lumberjack kids popped up on the bottom.

The little gift box has a belly band of corrogated cardboard and the plaid paper. The gift tag is an ornament die cut from an old Quickutz set. I used a wood embossing folder as a background to the Merry & Bright die cut.

I had so much fun creating this gift wrap ensemble! Thanks for taking the time to take a look!

Neat & Tangled Throwdown Gift Wrap Ensemble

This challenge came at a hectic time of the year but with the thought of the entire January product line as top prize…well, I totally had to enter! This company seriously has some fabulous products and love that they are located practically in my backyard!

I started out with plain white wrapping paper and stamped a pattern with the adorable Christmas Pageant Kids. Then I made a belly band wrap with pink cardstock and used the Merry and Bright die as a cut out. The 3D Christmas tree with the little boy as the star added some dimension.

I love the color scheme of the patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye. It’s actually the Love Me line from 2011, which is Valentines Day themed! Being able to use some of my scrapbooking stash makes me happy.

I colored the Christmas Pageant Kids with Copic Markers used them for a cute treat box/gift card holder, which fits 5 Hershey Kisses perfectly as well as a gift card.

The gift tag was made with the same patterned paper, Christmas Pageant Kids and Merry & Bright die. I created the  little ornament girl as 3D element and I like it so much I am going to make more as ornaments for my nieces.

Lawn Fawn Winter Holiday Challenge #42

Love these Lawn Fawn Challenges as well as all their products! I wanted to make a card for their grandmom whose annual Christmas gift always included footie pajamas! Last year she revisited that tradition—so much fun! I used my new double surprise slider, Snowy Night background die, Knitpicky paper pack and Merry Christmas die.
